Virtual Teams Path To Effective Collaboration Is Not Technology-Based
To make virtual business-based networked team work effectively we spend way too much time and resources focusing on the technologies and software tools which would best retrofit our needs for improved, faster and more efficient communications. We test, compare, review and experiment tons of new tools searching for features and facilities that can supposedly best support the many different work situations we need to face. But when it comes down to online collaboration, team coordination and management, there are so many human-based variables at play, so many critical components to effective information exchange, workflow distribution and knowledge sharing, that delegating technology to take the full responsibility of the solution can only do so much to improve our collaboration and cooperation...

Dial International Skype-based VoIP Calls From Your Mobile Phone
It is now possible to make Internet-based phone calls directly from your mobile phone, allowing great savings on the exorbitant international phone rates applied by most cell phone providers. The new solution, which for now works only on Windows PCs, does not require any special hardware or adoption of a special mobile phone plan and it allows Internet phone users to call ordinary phone numbers, either traditional landlines or mobile phones, all over the world at local rates. Validity Of AIDS/HIV Tests Challenged By New Lawsuit
Health Supreme reports: The test kits used to determine "HIV positive" status in patients are deeply flawed - they were developed on the basis of faulty scientific methodology and assumptions and are without value in determining whether a person suffers from "HIV Aids", alleges Kim Marie Bannon in a civil suit filed under the Consumer Protection Act of the State of Kansas, US. The legal action against the makers of Aids test kits CALYPTE BIOMEDICAL CORPORATION and ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS CORPORATION was filed more than a year ago, on 12 April 2004 in the Sedgwick County District Court by Dennis Webb of Wichita Kansas. |
Wouldn't it be great to be able to take your television with you anywhere you want around your home apartment? How about seeing your favorite satellite TV match from your laptop while connected from an Internet cafè on the other side of the world?
